WellPoint and the Aspen Institute are partnering to bring together academic, government and industry leaders to explore critical issues in health care. Our two main initiatives are:
- Aspen Health Stewardship Project: This initiative seeks to engage in the national conversation on health care reform to drive smart, sustainable improvements in the U.S. health care system.
- The Health Care Innovation Project: WellPoint is partnering with Aspen on this new thought leadership series that aims to highlight clinical innovations in diverse settings and opportunities for cost containment in the health care system.
The Aspen Institute mission is twofold: to foster values-based leadership, encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society, and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.
